I’m ready! What do I do first?

Multi-Level Marketing is one of the fastest growing yet most misunderstood methods of moving products in use today. I’ll be doing a short series on network marketing. My goal is to provide IDEAS that I have learned, practice and taught on this particular industry. This type of business may not be for you because it is not for everyone. However, if you find that you like the opportunity and would like to do it, then you can make a decision later. Is that okay? So let’s begin…

There are different types and schemes of Multi-Level Marketing systems. There’s the uni-level, binary, break-away, matrix, hybrid (a combination of two types/schemes or more), and pyramid (which is illegal by the way). I’ll be discussing these types of schemes in a different post.

When you join a networking company, you did not become an agent, representative or employee of the company. You are and independent business owner or distributor running your own multi-level marketing business. Nobody will impose a quota on you. You will be the one to decide how much of the business you want to do whether part-time of full-time and how much money you want to invest. Your investment of course has a direct bearing on the kind of income you receive.
Again, you will also decide how much you want to earn. There is no pressure to sell. If you want to be a consumer who faithfully uses the product monthly, then do that. Should you decide that you would like to be more involved in business in the future then follow your own timetable. The role of your direct sponsor or Upline is to be there when you need them.

I’m ready! What do I do first?

The first thing you need to know is not to talk to anybody about the business by yourself. Don’t talk to anybody yet unless your sponsor trains you to do two things:
• How to invite
• How to do a basic presentation

“Never talk to anyone unless you are trained. You might say the wrong things to a right person. Remember, we have only just one shot.”

Here are some simple steps and tips to get you started on the right foot. Just keep doing these basics, and your business will grow.

Start Using Your Products. – When you start to experience their benefits, you can then share your experience with others to build your business. They will practically sell themselves when you share your story or the stories of customers who are looking and feeling better than ever before now that they’ve tried your product.

Invite Your Prospects To Look – Work through your list of names, offering each person a chance to look at an opportunity to improve financially.

Do A Presentation – Invite some friends over and have a product presentation.

Help Others To Succeed – helping others to succeed is as simple as helping people to make a good decision; help them to see the future and start them properly in their new business.

Stay Positive – Stay away from Dream Stealers. Don’t let negative opinions of others rob you of your dreams. To achieve success, you must stay on the positive side of life. Not everyone will see your new venture as you do.
