Questions that can change your life

It’s been a while that I have not posted anything. I was invited to speak to student leaders at a university on leadership. I was to busy preparing my notes and presentation for that day. I talked about 5 questions that are important to each person that needs to be address enable for him/her to bring out a fulfilled and significant life and I’ll be sharing to you some of them.

The tale of two Presidents

I have been a student of leadership and I learned them by watching and observing people, extracting principles in every decision they make, testing and proving these principles and living it out. Another idea has come to life and I would like to share them to you. But first, let me start by asking you these two questions…

Q. Do you know what happens when you’re all heart and no skill?
Q. Do you know what happens when you’re very skillful but no heart?

The Ultimate Leader

Last March 2008, I attended a seminar on leadership featuring my favorite author and speaker Dr. Myles Munroe. I’ve been studiying and following his books for 5 years now on the topic of the kingdom. But this particular seminar focused on leadership with a twist of kingdom principles. I have never heard any person who have discussed it so brilliantly and I would like to share to you some of the “IDEAS” I heard and learned from him, not just in the seminar but with the books I have read on the topic. 

 Jesus Christ was the first business person in history with a global vision. In today’s society we are just starting to think about global business, networks, and the internet. Christ was at this level a long time ago. Two thousand years ago, He told eleven, uneducated fishermen and accountants to “go into all the world.” He said, “I have a business idea, and if you work with me, we will have a global business. And this product shall go into all the world.” This was 2000 years ago, and He was thinking about global business. So He started in the little town near a lake called Galilee.

 He began to train people whom society thought had no leadership on the inside of them. He didn’t go to downtown Jerusalem in the big city. Instead He stayed with individuals from a small town and worked with those person who were open to His message. Sometimes education can be an obstacle to progress.
